Then a PC-based programme controls the opening of the specific package destination port and communicates with the logistics department. Speeds up to 150 packages per second can be reached.

Screen layout of the Master Delivery Schedule (MDS) developed by Fluid Research and used during the Athens 2004 Olympic Games. The software system was used very successfully by the Athens 2004 OLC to plan the whole of the logistic deliveries prior, during and after the Athens 2004 Olympic Games, according to quite complicated needs (traffic, security issues, tide delivery schedules, e.t.c.).
