Fluid Research is a CFD provider to Toyota Motor Europe (TME) for investigating multi-phase flows realised with Diesel and HCCI engines and fuel cells. Fluid Research has been supported by major industrial manufacturers for using GFS in the following industrial R&D contracts:
'Modelling of nozzle flow and its link with the spray characteristics for passenger cars diesel engines', 1997-1999, supported by Fluids Investments Ltd, UK and Ford Motor Company, Aachen, Germany 'Modelling the internal nozzle flow and the spray characteristics from pressure-swirl atomisers', 1997-1999, supported by Fluids Investments Ltd, UK and Renault SA, France 'Modelling of in-cylinder flow processes in direct-injection gasoline engines', 1999–2003, supported by Yamaha Motor Company, Japan 'Investigation of cavitation, spray formation and combustion in diesel Engines', 2002–2004, supported by Toyota Motor Company Europe, Belgium 'Modelling of gasoline injectors for spray guided gasoline direct injection engines', 2003–2004, supported by Siemens VDO Automotive, Italy 'Modelling of dynamics of water droplets attached to fuel cell gas diffusion layer surfaces', 2004-2005, supported by Toyota Motor Europe, Belgium 'Modelling of flow through Diesel injector valves', 2005, supported by Daimler-Chrysler, Germany
In addition, Fluid Research has design and implement the software used in various automations, including the automatic shorting conveyor lines of ASC Courier. Furthermore, we have developed and operate the Master Delivery Schedule (MDS) system implemented during the Athens 2004 Olympic Games. |
