In addition to flow modelling, Fluid Research has experience in basic and applied research, development and testing. Specialised measurements can be used to understand complicated flow phenomena taking place at very short time scales and to validate CFD models. We can provide services in the following areas:

Flow visualization using CCD and high-speed cameras.

Automotive injectors instrumentation and internal flow visualisation.

Transparent scale-up nozzle manufacturing and internal flow visualisation.

Flow velocity measurements using laser Doppler velocimetry (LDV) and particle image velocimetry (PIV).

Sprays characterisation using phase Doppler anemometry (PDA) and laser induced fluorescence (LIF).
